Ohhhh makeup <3

I went and purchased some new makeup,  :-o tut tut.
I had some spots appear on my face and felt self conscious like I always do so decided to treat my self.
I was looking for some concealer and wanted something alittle bit more high end.
I looked around for  somethin with a reasonable price tag and discovered benefit erase paste :-/

At 17 pounds I didn't think it was a reasonable price, but the packaging and the advice from the sales assistant had me half sold...
So I went and looked around some more, and after reasoning with myself decided to go and buy it...
I still feel guilty now but it will last me for ages.
The erase paste comes in a pink box with a small spatula a little fancy purple pot and instructions.
It's not like the bo..ing or however you spell it from the benefit concealers like they have.

The erase paste seems to sink into your skin and appears pink at first but then settles into your skin colour and removes the redness and other nasties

I like to cover my blemishes, scars and other impressions first with the erase paste then apply my foundation with my stippling brush by real techniques and then go over any imperfections with my brush again

My whole face seems brighter and freasher :-D B-) <3

Make up , makeup <3

Hello, well this week I got  my very first professional  makeup brush,  it's only took me 17 years :-o.
In the past I,ve always bought cheap makeup brushes
So I thought stuff it I,m gonna treat myself and start buying the higher end makeup brands
YouTube is the blame for this, lol as all the makeup guru,s have made me realise that, yes some makeup is exspensive but it's also  looks fantastic and lasts so much longer.

Anyhow I failed to find the beauty blender makeup brush, another makeup item recommend  on YouTube so have no idea were I,d find one, if anyone has any idea...(I live in north east of England) then comment down below :-)

So I invested in the real techniques  stippling  brush from the makeup  artist pixwhoo... Sorry no idea hoe to link yet I,'ll try and crop and edit later on.
Anyhow pixwoo  are twins on Facebook?  Who are makeup artists and they are fantastic, I,be only just discovered them, and they explain things so simply
They do the real techniques  makeup brushes... Or one of them does so I went to boots the chemists and purchased  one for £10, which is alot for me Mau I add.

I googked the product and of course silly me their is a video on how to use it as well as an email dress attached to the packaging, which leads to the pixwhoo  website and all there videos and stuff

The stippling brush is recommended for use of a BB  cream so I used my mayneline  one.
Normally this would just slide on my skin and I,d have to use a matte  powder to settled it down

Omg with the stipplong  brush I left I went on so easily and sapping it on it gave me extra coverage and a flawless  finish and went on I'm seconds

Am so impressed  with the brush and it's amazing that it can have this effect,  I also tried my Revlon  colourstay foundation and this also gave me  great coverage

My  next items I must try is some MAC makeup as never tired this before and the urban decay  eyeshadow  Palette.

I get so excited buying makeup and trying it out, anything that makes me feel good is a bonus

I,ve also been using wrinkle cream as feel so old lately, and trying to diet and failing  :-/ :-(

Still one step at a time

In other knews  my oldest Brody is doing really well at nursery,  he struggles to talk  and communicate and so a speech therapist has been to see him and also he is being assessed for ssomething  on the autism spectrum,  although  I think this could be mild,  it's his communication  that is holding him back I think personally.
He has obsessions that o think once older he cam learn to control and grow out of it, one of hos obsession.s is gates, opening and closing them and touching them

Anuhow it's getting late and I can hardly  keep my eyes open

Take care and thanks for reading

a little about me..... :-D

Hello my name is Lou, and this is my first blog.:-o I was inspired to finally do one by the gorgeous Anna style diet and the inspiring shaanxo shaaanxo and so many more.
I love YouTube and the makeup channels, I have a week off work so thought I,d take advantage of making up a blog now and de cluttering my house :-/ I've loved makeup since being a little girl, always stealing my mams bags and sneaking eye shadows and lipsticks and plastering my face with makeup a pair of her heels and my toy pram. But as I got older I had no confidence at all :-( I was quite shy and withdrawn
This pic is me at around three,

By the time I reached my teens I was still really shy and withdrawn, I avoided wearing anything to draw attention or attract attention, I just wanted to be invisible.
But then one day I decided to dress abit differently and wear abit makeup as I was in love lol <3 with a handsome boy ha ha

At 14 I experimented with some makeup that belonged to my Mam and an iron to iron my hair.... Yes a iron to iron clothes with lol:-/ All to make this boy pay attention, he did notice me but it was,nt love at first sight just a crush ha ha But still I have this boy to thank for finding the inner woman in me, as I never looked back in experimenting with hair, makeup and clothes and it gave me the confidence I needed. Now I,m a wife and mother to two boys Brody and Brannon and I,m feeling rather old and frumpy even though I,m 31, I still find the time to put my makeup on, I just simply can't leave the house unless I have some makeup on, Its like my security blanket, my mask, I supose those inner securities and lack of confidence never went away, I was blessed with a slim figure but slowly the weight is beginning to creep up, not good when your petite like me.:@ I buy things to make me feel food and try to follow a healthy diet, but the chocolate always wins, -:) the same with exercise I simply can't be bothered or find the extra energy, Something has to change as Iam so unhappy with myself, :-( I always make sure I look smart and glamorous, my good school friend says I have become more glam as I have got older, :-D I,ve always tried to look glam and always felt guilty buying exspensive makeup but since watching videos on makeup and what to buy I have to invest in some Mac makeup and the urban decay eyeshadows <3 they seem so popular and worth the money, ooohhh not forgetting the brushes too ;-) sigma and elf and Mac. I just wish I had the confidence when I was younger to stand out be confident and wear makeup and experiment... I did in the comfort of my bedroom and then slowly I wore mascara. So as you can see my main love in makeup and of course <3 family <3 I love going out places, with my two little boys and seeing there faces light up on a swing or a slide or feeding the ducks, that is we're my other love comes in,....taking photos, love love love taking pics I have thousands all saved on to cds, and saved again on computers, and Sims cards.... Just incase you don't want to delete memories :-) Thank you for reading my blog of babble and about me please leave comments as I have no idea how to work this thing or how to find people to add, follow or read my blogs I promise they will get better....or I hope they do :-/ Many thanks Lou xx
